About
Kelley A. Duarte

I spent years leading global teams and driving growth across technology-driven, fast-moving industries. On paper, it looked like success. In reality, the pace and pressure often came at the cost of clarity and balance. That experience shapes the work I do today as an executive coach, trusted advisor, mentor and consultant.

That realisation fuels the work I do today as an executive coach and consultant. I help leaders and organisations achieve impact without sacrificing integrity, vision, or humanity. Profitability matters, but so does purpose. The real challenge, and the question I sit with every day alongside my clients, is this: does profit have to come at the expense of purpose, or can the two reinforce each other?

My coaching practice lives at the intersection of reflection and action. Coaching brings awareness and presence, while consulting ensures those insights become strategies that deliver measurable results. Clients work with me when they’re at inflection points, taking on larger roles, navigating organisational politics, or pausing long enough to ask, 'What now?' What matters? What’s worth leaving behind?

My approach blends structure with depth, always tailored to the leader in front of me. Sometimes the work is about sharpening focus and clarifying goals; that’s where structured tools like GROW come in. Other times it’s about slowing down enough to notice what’s really happening in the moment, a Gestalt practice that often surfaces the blind spots driving performance.

25+ Years in Global Leadership

Leaders also come to me when the questions run deeper: What now? What matters? What’s worth leaving behind? That’s the existential layer of coaching: exploring choice, meaning, and direction. And while the conversations can get challenging, they’re always grounded in respect. Carl Rogers’ principle of unconditional positive regard is central to how I build trust: I meet leaders where they are, without judgement.

I draw on 25+ years in global leadership, an MBA from USC, and my current Master of Studies in Coaching at the University of Cambridge, where my research explores integrity, vision, and purpose as drivers of sustainable performance. Beyond the boardroom, I mentor with the King’s Trust, supporting future leaders who are shaping their own paths with courage and resilience.

What I value: trust, character, and transformation that strengthens both people and organisations, because the best leaders don’t just deliver results; they leave a legacy worth following.
